I have a black thumb. I can kill any plant just by being in the same room with it. Cactus plants, spider plants, moss.....it's ridiculous. My boyfriend bet me that there was no way in hell I could kill a tomato plant. I scoffed. We wagered. We went to Loblaws & got the scraggliest looking beefsteak tomato plant on the clearance rack. I was convinced it would die making the trip back to the house. However, even with dollar store potting soil & a half dead plant, I have manged to grow a tomato plant.
I AM SHOCKED! Here is the proof. I now owe my boyfriend a beer.
